Questions, answered.

Everything about putting your brand on a real Times Square board, the money, the review, the proof. Anything missing? info@bookabillboard.today

The board

Is this a real Times Square billboard?

Yes, a real digital screen in Times Square, NYC at Broadway & 46th, 55 × 31 ft. It is not a render, an AR filter, or a lookalike screen in another city. Your creative physically lights up in Times Square.

What exactly am I buying?

A day of airtime in a shared loop. Your ad takes the WHOLE screen for 10 seconds at a time, repeating through the day. A Single ($110) plays about 11 times a day, a Double ($200) plays about 22 times, and a Full takeover ($799) runs a 60-second spot ~11 times a day. The board is shared with a few other brands, which is why it costs $110 instead of tens of thousands.

Who is this for?

AI app builders launching something new, D2C brands who want the 'seen in Times Square' badge for their store and socials, creators, and people gifting a moment (a face, a proposal, a congratulations). If it fits on a screen and passes review, it can run.

When does my ad run?

Drops run by calendar month. July 2026 is the open run (24 spots), August and September open next. After your ad is approved and your drop is confirmed, we schedule your run dates and email them to you.

Money

How much does it cost?

Single, $110 (10s spot, ~11 plays/day). Double, $200 (10s spot, ~22 plays/day). Full takeover, $799 (60s spot, ~11 plays/day). Pricing is $1 per second of airtime, computed on our server, so the price you see is the price charged, ever.

When am I charged?

Never automatically. Reserving places a hold on your card, like a hotel does at check-in. No money moves. You are charged only after a human reviews your ad and confirms your drop. If we don't confirm, the hold simply lapses and you pay nothing.

Can I run for more than one day?

Yes. Email info@bookabillboard.today with the dates you have in mind and we'll build your run at the same fair rate, longer stretch. Multi-day and multi-week runs are how most brands turn one moment into a campaign.

What if my ad is rejected?

You are not charged. The card hold is released and lapses on its own. We'll email you why (usually a content or image-quality issue) and you're welcome to fix it and try again.

Can I get a refund?

If something on our side prevents your confirmed spot from running as promised, you get a full refund. Refunds are processed back to the same card. For anything unclear, email info@bookabillboard.today and a human will sort it out.

Your creative

What can I upload?

A PNG, JPG or WEBP image up to 25 MB. You frame it in the built-in editor: crop to fill the board's 55 × 31 shape, or fit the whole image with clean bars. The preview you see is exactly what runs.

What resolution do I need?

The board is 55 feet wide, so sharpness matters. We grade your image live: 1680px+ wide reads Great (crisp), 1056px+ reads Good (sharp at board size). Below that it's flagged Low, and ads need Good or Great quality to be accepted, so export a bigger file or zoom out and re-crop.

What content is allowed?

Standard advertising rules: no adult content, no hate or harassment, no illegal products, no misleading claims, nothing you don't have rights to. A human reviews every ad before it's confirmed, and that review protects everyone sharing the board.

Is my image uploaded when I drop it on the screen?

No. The preview happens entirely in your browser. Your image is only sent to us when you actually reserve a spot. Try as many versions as you like, free, without an account.

Trust & proof

How do I know it actually ran?

You get timestamped proof after your spot runs: a photo of your ad live on the board in Times Square, ready to post on LinkedIn, Instagram or X. Proof is part of the product: the flex doesn't work without receipts.

Who is behind this?

A small independent team that books the board time wholesale and splits it fairly. Cards are handled on a secure, PCI-compliant payment page (your card number never touches our servers) and every step of your booking is recorded and visible in your account.

How do referrals work?

Every customer gets a unique code. When a friend books with your code and their payment completes, you BOTH get bumped Single → Double for the Single price. No cash-back games, you just get more airtime.

How do I contact support?

Email info@bookabillboard.today and a human reads every message, usually same day. Include your waitlist code if you have one.

Your data

What data do you collect?

Only what's needed to run your drop: your name and email from sign-in, the ad image you upload, and your booking details. That's it: no trackers following you around the internet, no ad pixels, no data brokers.

Will my data be sold or shared?

Never. Your data is not sold, rented, or handed to anyone. Your ad image is used for exactly one thing: showing and running your billboard spot. When we retire it, it's deleted. Want it gone sooner? One email to info@bookabillboard.today and we erase it.

How is my payment kept safe?

Your card details are entered on a secure, PCI-compliant payment page and never touch our servers, so we couldn't see your card number if we tried. Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and every change to your booking is logged so there's always a paper trail.

The cat

Who is Mochi?

Mochi is the cat from our film: Yara's cat who went missing, until her dad put the poster on the board (from his phone, in a few taps) and all of Times Square went looking. Mochi now naps somewhere on this site. If you spot a tail, click it. 🐾

Why this exists

I’ve watched the same movie for years: a big brand wants attention, writes a $50k check, and gets Times Square. A small team builds something better and gets… a tweet. Capital always buys the stage. That never sat right with me.

So we bought the stage and split it. One board, cut into slots anyone can afford. Now the AI app that shipped last week and the D2C brand running out of a garage can stand exactly where the giants stand: same screen, same lights, from $110.

And here’s the quiet superpower: the proof photo. Drop it in your LinkedIn or Instagram, put “as seen in Times Square” on your site, and watch how differently people, including enterprise buyers, treat you. Perception compounds.

The goal is simple: democratise distribution. Small players deserve the big stage too.
